D-Luxe Burger is a moderately priced quick service burger joint located in Disney Springs. Their hours are from 11:00a.m-11:00p.m. and as of right now they do accept the Disney Dining Plan and Annual Passholder discounts apply. Yay! The food is good, you’ll want to eat here.
The menu features different types of burgers, fries, sodas and shakes. It’s an ala carte ordering style and there really isn’t a “meal deal” option for adults. The burgers are fast, fresh and fantastic. It’s by far the best burger on Walt Disney World property. Options include anything from a classic cheeseburger, to a southern burger with a fried green tomato and pimento cheese (my favorite) and my husbands favorite the current seasonal special which is a bacon, blue cheese burger. If beef isn’t your thing, there are also chicken and veggie burger options on the menu. Gluten free menu options are also offered here like a gluten free bun, a lettuce bun and all of the dipping sauces. The french fries are also gluten free and fried in a dedicated fryer. The chicken and veggie burgers also contain no fillers so they are gluten free, as well. Kids can choose from either a ground chicken burger or a classic cheeseburger served with a side and a drink. Burgers at D-Luxe and cooked to medium as a standard rule of thumb but you can request your own doneness preference. My order, every time I visit, is the Southern Classic Burger, well done, with no fried green tomato. If you aren’t absolutely starving, the burgers are big enough to share if you order a side of fries to go with it. You can order the french fries either in a regular size or large, if you’re sharing go with large, and they come with your choice of house made dipping sauces. You can choose any or all of a garlic ranch, horseradish, chipotle mayo, 3 mustard and honey, buffalo blue cheese or curry ketchup. I’m actually not a big fan of any of these but I always ask for a cup of their barbecue sauce for a dip instead. The french fries are so good and crispy and I’ve been told they are hand cut and take 3 days to make, so you know a lot of love goes into those babies and you can taste the difference. Even my potato hatin’ kid can’t keep her hands out of my fries order when it comes to the table.
I’m not naturally a burger person. I mean I like burgers but I don’t actively seek them out at restaurants like my husband does. But believe you this, I crave burgers from D-Luxe. I’d pick to eat there over anything else in Disney Springs (as long as I could still get a slice of hummingbird cake from Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ – more on that later). It’s also an affordable option for families especially if you share which is totally doable. Now, this place is busy. Don’t let the long line out the door scare you off. I’ve never seen the line start inside, it’s that busy. However, the system they have in place works great. You order and pay at the counter, get your pager and then find a seat. There is plenty of seating options both inside and outside along the water at D-Luxe. You place your pager on the edge of your table and your food is brought out to you. Drink are get it yourself and the best part is they are refillable. If it’s not totally scorching outside, I recommend sitting out on the patio. The views of Disney Springs are breathtaking, it really adds to the dining experience.
I know there are so many choices when it comes to dining at Disney Springs, but D-Luxe burger is a really great place with quality food that’s affordable. We always make sure to eat there at least once during our trip to Walt Disney World and haven’t had a bad meal yet. Have you enjoyed a meal at D-Luxe Burger? I’d love to hear if you liked it as much as I do in the comment section below or you can join the conversation over on my facebook page, Delightfully Jackie.
